 | Sendo sees double with Superbikes team |  |
The deal marks Sendo’s second consecutive year supporting British Superbikes (BSB), the world’s largest domestic superbike competition and reinforces the company’s passion and commitment to the sport. Dedicated team riders are championship racer and record holder, Steve Plater as well as the new star of the track, Jon Kirkham.
Sendo Global Marketing Director, Kevin Lawless stated that Sendo’s success with Superbikes both on and off the track in 2004 was a key factor in elevating the company’s commitment in 2005, and said that he was looking forward to further success this year.
“Sendo’s 2004 partnership with Superbikes was extremely rewarding on a number of levels. Not only did it increase the company’s consumer awareness but it also gave us a communication platform that resonated with our staff, customers, suppliers and Superbikes fans alike.
“This year, Sendo has significantly advanced its involvement and will be focusing our efforts on leveraging the Sendo Superbikes Team globally. Together with Kawasaki, Dienza Performance, and our two top riders, we are poised for success and have our sights set on winning more on and off the track.”
“In 2005 we will focus on rolling out international programmes that highlight our commitment to using Superbikes to support out product and company awareness. We will do this through dedicated customer and partner programmes in all of our markets across the world,” commented Lawless.
Sendo’s global Superbikes programme is already in full swing as it includes many exclusive off track events such as the unique Sendo Track Experience held in Spain twice yearly. The race action will kick off at the first Superbikes meet on 28 March at Brands Hatch. Sendo is concluding its customer programme which will see creative and impactful POS and on-pack promotions in multiple markets across Europe and South America.
“This year, together with our partners both on and off the track, we will be racing to win on all levels,” Lawless concluded.
