I have been using this phone for around 4 months now. So far I'm happy with this phone. This phone is a Jack Of All Trades phone, it has all the multimedia functions you need, like FM radio, MP3, Movie player for real media files and MP4 files.Movies can be encoded with the included software for conversion of dat and avi files to rm files. Bear in mind that even ordinary rm files encoded for use in pc has to be re-encoded to 320x240 size. Movie playing is good albeit some staggering. Movie encoded in MP4 format tends to be smoother though. The same player is use for MP3 too, the sound quality is clear but lacks bass and it does not have equilizer to set the sound, which is quite a let down. The FM radio is capable of storing 10 presets stations, which in my opinion, is rather limited as most countries have more than 10 radio stations. The hands free has to be plug in to be use as an antenna. Depending on location, the radio is clear most of the time, when signal is weak, you can always set the radio to mono sound to reduce the background noise. The stereo loud speaker is loud and good quality as compare to many other phones. But to listen clearly, handsfree stereo earphone is still a better option. The loud speaker is design to be placed on top of any hard surface, the sound will actually "bounce" sideways and you get louder and more " 3D" sound effect. The camera is VGA standard and its not very good as compred to many MP cam phones out there. But if compare to other VGA cam phones, its quality is one of the best. However it does not have a flash light intergrated. You can store photos taken directly into the memory card, which is a lot if you have a 2Gb memory card. The video quality on the other hand is rather bad, size is too small and quality is very blurry.Maximum video capture duration is 2 hours despite your memory card's fre space. Softwares and games supported for this phone is very limited due to the Linux platform. The included game is designed to be played in landscape format. Speed wise this phone is a bit slow as compared to other pda phones like O2 Mini or HP 6365. This phone includes a viewer for Microsoft Excel and Word but you're not able to edit them. It can also read PDF files. With the support of up to 2gb memory card, you can use this phone as a portable storage, but it will only work well with Microsoft Windows 2000 with SP3 above and Windows XP. It will be detected as a removable drive by the Windows. The 2.5 inch LCD is clear and bright most of the time but under direct sunlight, it can be a bit difficult to see. Voice call clarity of this phone is quite good as compared to many other reputable phones. This phone is one of the few that support bluetooth AD2P which enables user to listen to mp3 using their Motorola HT820 BT stereo headset. The sound quality is not as clear but the bass is very strong. You can also use the HT820 to adjust volume and skip tracks. This phone has a talking phone function, which reads out SMS when activated. It also has voice command function but you will need to speak loudly and clearly into the mic as it's not very sensitive. This phone has Chinese characters inputs, keyboard and block recogniser. It does not have Phone Pad like O2 Mini which is much easier for keying in texts. With the support of up to 2Gb MMc/SD card, you can store many MP3s and movies in decent quality. We can conclude that with the lower price tag, this phone is really value for money. A great phone for all those boring moments.
