LG C1400 is announced in 2004
Design
LG C1400 handset is a distinctive-looking clamshell. Measures 88 x 47 x 24 mm in size and weighing 92 grams, it is light and feels very slender despite its size.A secound 96 x 48 pixel, 2 display dominates the front cover, and although not the clearest external display we've seen it is still quite functional. The 16 bit - color display which is a little milky, dim and uneven, as well as having lower resolution than usual. The display resolution 128 x 160 pixel ideal for small and smart phone.
The left side of the unit holds a spacious volume rocker. There is nice LEDs which notify users of new messages, active network and missed calls. This is not common for all LG handsets and is not necessary to pick up and activate the device to see whether any alerts are waiting.
Ergonomics
The C1400 is comfortable to hold and lies well in ones hand.Sporting a simple and user friendly menu in style with other recent LG handsets. The plastic keypad has very limited key travel and jiggles independently of the phone, with the shrunken center keys for no apparent reason, make the phone harder to dial than necessary. And last, but not least, a five-way navigation buttons centered below the display.
Features
Dual band 900/1800 MHz connectivity isn't all the LG C1400 has to offer: there's also support for GPRS, SMS, and a range of applications such as WAP , Java MIDP 2.0, 32-channels polyphony, voice commands, FAX/Modem, all of which laptop and handheld users will be pleased to learn is a breeze to utilize either by means of infrared old wireless device,GPRS support is the fastest way to download files with your mobile, and spacious phone book. and when it comes to storage the C1400 offers 1 MB which is dynamically shared between images and J2ME applications.
Performance
Audio quality on the C1400 was crystal clear, and signal quality was good. The removable 760 mAh Li-ion battery is rated for 3 hours talk time or 230 hours standby, which is quite low given the battery's theoretical capacity. Charge time is about 114 minutes.
Availability
The LG C1400 is now available throughout Europe in some language version.
Conclusion
LG C1400 is a beautiful phone to hold and use, and it's quickly won our hearts. The typical LG design flair is present in abundance, with all the requisite consumer features to back it up.But love doesn't notice such little flaws. |
