Lenovo G900 is announced in 2004

Design

Far better looking than the previous models, the G900 appears both smaller and sleeker than its predecessor - a result of the visual illusion as the difference in size is marginal. There are however several other quite tangible differences, coincidentally leaving a larger area of the screen exposed; overall improved build quality and ergonomics; and some weight loss.Weighing in at 104 grams and measuring 106 x 47 x 18 mm, it's compact ad powerful for its size. The incredible 262,144 colors display is so bright and colorful, and provide more real colors of pictures and 3D images. The display resolution 220 x 176 pixel ideal for small and smart phone.

The left side of the unit holds a spacious volume rocker. There is nice LEDs which notify users of new messages, active network and missed calls. This is not common for all Lenovo handsets and is not necessary to pick up and activate the device to see whether any alerts are waiting.

Ergonomics

The G900 is comfortable to hold and lies well in ones hand.Sporting a simple and user friendly menu in style with other recent Lenovo handsets. The plastic keypad has good placed keys, giving it a cheap feel while oddly designed buttons, with the shrunken center keys for no apparent reason, make the phone harder to dial than necessary. What's more, the P910i frustratingly flops all around the place when using both thumbs to enter text, yielding a usability level best suited to very short messages. Thankfully, it's still possible to detach the flip entirely for those who prefer fully touch-based interaction.

Features

Dual band 900/1800 MHz connectivity isn't all the Lenovo G900 has to offer: there's also support for GPRS, SMS, and a range of applications such as WAP , Email client, Java MIDP 2.0, voice commands, a voice recorder, FAX/Modem, all of which laptop and handheld users will be pleased to learn is a breeze to utilize either by means of infrared old wireless device,GPRS support is the fastest way to download files with your mobile, and spacious phone book. and when it comes to storage the G900 offers 4 MB which is dynamically shared between images and J2ME applications.

Performance

Audio quality on the G900 was crystal clear, and signal quality was good. The removable 650 mAh Li-ion battery is rated for 4 hours talk time or 150 hours standby, which is quite low given the battery's theoretical capacity. Charge time is about 97 minutes.

Availability

The Lenovo G900 is now available throughout Europe in some language version.

Conclusion

Lenovo G900 is a beautiful phone to hold and use, and it's quickly won our hearts. The typical Lenovo design flair is present in abundance, with all the requisite consumer features to back it up.But love doesn't notice such little flaws.
