Samsung T100 is announced in 2002

Design

Samsung T100 handset is a distinctive-looking clamshell. Measures 88 x 50 x 22 mm in size and weighing 94 grams, it is light and feels very slender despite its size.A secound 96 x 32 pixel, 2 display dominates the front cover, and although not the clearest external display we've seen it is still quite functional. The 4096-color display is dim, not very bright and crisp, but is a far step above the very dim 256-color versions on even the most recent Samsung models. The display resolution 128 x 160 pixel ideal for small and smart phone.

The left side of the unit holds a spacious volume rocker. There is nice LEDs which notify users of new messages, active network and missed calls. This is not common for all Samsung handsets and is not necessary to pick up and activate the device to see whether any alerts are waiting.

Ergonomics

The T100 is not comfortable for hold in ones hand because it is too wide.Sporting a simple and user friendly menu in style with other recent Samsung handsets. The plastic keypad has very limited key travel and jiggles independently of the phone, with the comfortable center keys, make the phone easer to dial. And last, but not least, a four-way navigation buttons centered below the display.

Features

Single band 900 MHz connectivity isn't all the Samsung T100 has to offer: there's also support for SMS, and a range of applications such as WAP , 16-channels polyphony, FAX/Modem, all of which laptop and handheld users will be pleased to learn is a breeze to utilize either by means of and spacious phone book..

Performance

Audio quality on the T100 was crystal clear, and signal quality was good. The removable 720 mAh Li-ion battery is rated for 1.2 hours talk time or 80 hours standby, which is quite low given the battery's theoretical capacity. Charge time is about 108 minutes.

Availability

The Samsung T100 is now available throughout Europe in some language version.

Conclusion

Samsung T100 is a beautiful phone to hold and use, and it's quickly won our hearts. The typical Samsung design flair is present in abundance, with all the requisite consumer features to back it up.But love doesn't notice such little flaws.
