 SonyEricsson S700 is announced in 2004
Design
Although it measures a distinctly petite 107 x 49 x 24 mm, and weighs 137 g, the SonyEricsson S700 looks even bigger although than it is the sliding design it adopts.The incredible 262,144 colors display is so bright and colorful, and provide more real colors of pictures and 3D images.The display resolution 240 x 320 pixel ideal for small and smart phone.
The left side of the unit holds a spacious volume rocker.There is nice LEDs which notify users of new messages, active network and missed calls. This is not common for all SonyEricsson handsets and is not necessary to pick up and activate the device to see whether any alerts are waiting.
Ergonomics
The S700 is comfortable to hold and lies well in ones hand.Sporting a simple and user friendly menu in style with other recent SonyEricsson handsets.The plastic keypad has good placed keys, giving it a cheap feel while oddly designed buttons, with the comfortable center keys, make the phone easer to dial.And last,but not least, a five-way navigation buttons centered below the display.

In the WAN department, the S700 boasts healthy support for Tri-band 900/1800/1900 MHz, as well as GPRS, SMS, and a range of applications such as WAP , Email client, Java MIDP 2.0, 40-channels polyphony, voice commands, a voice recorder, FAX/Modem, all of which laptop and handheld users will be pleased to learn is a breeze to utilize either by means of infrared old wireless device,bluetooth high speed small range wireless device.GPRS support is the fastest way to download files with your mobile, and spacious phone book.
As previously mentioned, the S700 is also equipped with and audio/video recording, as well as an integrated MP3 player.The latter of which is also the reason for why the 0 MB of internal memory, which initially appears spacious, is quickly stretched to its limits. Performance
Audio quality on the S700 was crystal clear, and signal quality was good. The removable 1100 mAh Li-pol battery is rated for 7 hours talk time or 300 hours standby, which is quite low given the battery's theoretical capacity. Charge time is about 165 minutes.

The SonyEricsson S700 is now available throughout Europe in some language version.
Conclusion
SonyEricsson S700 is a beautiful phone to hold and use, and it's quickly won our hearts. The typical SonyEricsson design flair is present in abundance, with all the requisite consumer features to back it up.But love doesn't notice such little flaws. |
